To best serve you and women for many years to come, Journey Midwifery has the following communication guidelines. Please follow these guidelines for the best way to contact us for each appropriate situation.
Labor and urgent needs only:
Urgent needs and labor: contact me 24/7We value your privacy; so Journey Midwifery only utilizes text communication for labor updates; please call with all other urgent concerns.Call urgent/labor line at 210-455-1995
Non-urgent:
Use the client portal to message your midwife directly, or call the office line during business hours (9am-5pm M-F) at 210-455-1995.This is the preferred method of communication for any non-urgent needs, questions, appointment change requests.
EMERGENCY BACKUP
My phone is on 24/7 for urgent needs and labor calls. While I do not anticipate the need to utilize my emergency backup midwife, I recognize that technology isn't infallable, or I may be at another birth or have a family emergency myself. I have this number here for you in case you have tried several times unsuccessfully to get a hold of me. Please only use this number as a last resort for emergent needs, in labor, or if the world is falling apart and you cannot get a hold of me. (Non urgent questions will be directed back to me).
